The PYSA coaching clinics are designed to provide our members with age appropriate information to use when coaching players between the ages of 4 and
12. Each participant will receive handouts that contain valuable coaching tips as well as sample practice sessions to use with their teams. During the 75 minute session the coaches
will participate in a number of age appropriate games that they can then use on the field when they are working with their respective teams.

This clinic will cover the basic techniques that will help coaches tach players how to play the position safely and without fear. Along with basic techniques, coaches will be given
some fun activities that will make players more comfortable playing in goal.
Transition from 4v4 to 6v6, 6v6 to 8v8, and 8v8 to 11v11
This clinic is a discussion about how to effectively move add players to the field as teams get older. We will discuss the basic principles of soccer
and how we can use these principles to place players on the field in ways that will assist in their development. This clinic is not a field based clinic. All coaches who attend will
receive a copy of the US Soccer Best Practices document.
