PYSA will not be running a Rec Plus league in 2010.  PYSA is recommending that teams within our organization that would like a more competitive league enter the OYSA Regional League.  OYSA Will be hosting a Portland Metro League (PML) for the Fall of 2010.  The PML will have U10 and U11-U14 age groups.  Any U11 team that would like to play in the OYSA league will need to play at the U12 age group due to the fact that OYSA plays 8v8 at U11.  There is the potential for teams to travel outside of Portland to play away games.

The fee for the league is $475 at U10 and $700 for U11-U14.  You will also need to register all of the participating players and coaches with OYSA.  The cost for this is $13 per player/coach.  There is also a PYSA fee associated with playing in an outside league.  The fee is $185 per team and covers the cost of practice fields and game fields for each team.  Once the players and coaches register with OYSA they are all eligible to register for recreational tournaments throughout the year.

We feel that this league will give the teams within PYSA that want a more competitive environment against different competition the best possible option.
