What should I expect on game day?

On game day when you arrive at the field the coaches will be responsible for putting the nets up on the goals (Coaches always like additional help, so you may want to volunteer).

PYSA prides itself in providing referees for every game, but sometimes due to circumstances beyond our control a game or two MAY not have a referee assigned. The vast majority of the referees in PYSA are under the age of 18 and have received their certification as well as additional training from PYSA. We ask that all parents and coaches be patient with our referees as we ask that you treat them as they were your child out there officiating the games.

Your games will be played at many fields around the city of Portland, both on grass and possibly on artificial turf. while it is well known that Portland can be "Damp" at times ages will generally be played.
